DESCRIPTION: It is a colorless, volatile, easy-flow, non-flammable, transparent liquid with fragrant smell. It has anesthetic effect on human’s nerve system. Pure trichloroethylene has slow decomposition speed. When mixture of trichloroethylene and oxygen is irradiated with ultraviolet rays, the decomposition speed is accelerated.

USES: It is mainly used as dry-cleaner for wools and textiles and metal degreasing, AS solvent for dissolving resin, pitch, coal tar, acetyl cellulose, nitro cellulose, rubber and coating etc. It can be used as anesthetic in medicine and raw material for synthesizing monochloroacetic acid in farm chemical.
